Introduction

HOPE is located near the south-eastern coast of India. We started this social organization in 1996 with the name HOPE (Heaven for the Orphan People on Earth) and taken the first orphan child into home in 1998. Now God blessed the home with 32 children & 33 widows (as of mid-2010). We run this orphanage with a principle and without worldly influences. It is not simply run as an orphanage, but as a family. It may seem odd that the children from broken backgrounds could feel that they are loved and part of a family, but that’s a sure sign of the Lord’s grace upon the home.

As little birds are dependent on their mother for provision, the countless millions of orphans and widows in the world are often totally dependent on others for their provision. James 1:27 is the theme verse for HOPE, and shows how it is the heart of the Father to use His people as His instruments to meet the needs of the orphan and widow. “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” We need to keep ourselves “unstained” from the world so we can have more of God’s love in our hearts, a love that will reach out to the helpless with truth and healing.

The HOPE family\orphanage is primarily funded by Right Hand Ministries, but is just one of the ministries that RHM is assisting to fulfil their God-given calls.
